SCOPE
  • ER24 understands the importance of the service being provided to our clients, as health and safety of workers is the most important value.
  • Providing Medical, Nurse, Security and Rescue services to our clients ensures that all workers, given the unfortunate circumstance that they may be injured at work, will be in capable hands at all times.
  • ER24 understands that without the essential services being provided, the on-going safety and security of the project are greatly compromised and the increased risk to our clients is too great to continue working under normal conditions.
  • This plan states the commitment ER24 has to ensure all Clients are provided with high quality service at all times throughout the life of the contract.
RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
SCHEDULED LEAVE & UNSCHEDULED LEAVE

  • To ensure on-going coverage of service to our Clients, ER24 staff are grouped into one of the four service areas for which they are qualified – Paramedics, Nurse, Security, Rescue services.
  • As some staff are multi-skilled they are grouped into the service for which they are currently providing at the time of the leave.
  • To overcome problems with leave coverage ER24 employ staff on a permanent basis who are site ready within their group and have maintained competencies to work on site.
  • The relief staff are rostered in advance to ensure they will meet the requirements for site and to learn any additional training or processes that may have been introduced since working previously.
  • To ensure on-going service delivery to our Clients, ER24 maintain contingency plans to provide coverage for emergent leave of staff.
EQUIPMENT
SCHEDULED EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

  • All ER24 vehicles are maintained as per log book servicing requirements (every 10,000km for petrol and 15,000km for diesel vehicles) to reduce the risk of unplanned maintenance.
  • Prior to scheduling an operational or transport vehicle for servicing, the ER24 employee must arrange with the ER24 Fleet Co-ordinator for an appropriate replacement vehicle. The Fleet Co-ordinator will co-ordinate the movement of all ER24 vehicles and ensure only one operational vehicle is being serviced at any one time. To assist with this, average monthly distance travelled for each site are maintained by the ER24 Fleet Coordinator and forecast servicing schedules are provided.
  • For an operational vehicle to be deemed as ‘appropriate’ it must have and maintain site compliance for the site it will be covering.
