ER24 has an established private patient transport service to cater for inter-hospital transfers in all States and Territories of Australia.
One of the main reasons for ER24 to set up a non-acute medical transfer service for this industry is to alleviate some of the pressure from the State Ambulance Services so that they may concentrate their resources on their core function to provide emergency services to the community. We believe by giving the industry another professional provider in the market at a competitive price that can supply gold service in the movement of patients from hospital to hospital, outpatients to usual place of residence, to and from allied health services or any other medical transfer e.g commercial airline flight, we will assist in alleviating the congestion and backlog that often occurs in medical centres.
