Safety Advisors

ER24 Safety Advisors provide support and expertise to the day-to-day operation to protect the health and safety of people and ensure compliance to regulatory and on site company safety requirements and systems.

Providing specialist advice, assistance and coaching to the management group and staff on site to allow them to achieve their safety responsibilities.

Roles + Responsibilities

Advise the company on safety compliance;
Understand the principles of the ‘duty of care’ towards people at work;
Facilitate the safety consultation process;
Communicate safety messages to the workforce;
Monitor safety on site;
Monitor the safety training of staff;
Initiate regular site inspections in conjunction with workers safety representatives where appropriate;
Participate in consultative structures to maximise their usefulness;
Monitor all internal data on accidents;
Liaise with Health and Safety Authority inspectors;
Investigate accidents and prepare reports;
Return to work coordinator as well as maintain all relevant return to work files;
Mine site traffic observation including speed detection.

All ER24 staff are focused on maintaining ‘zero harm’ for the organisation or client, specific reporting on events + advising the company on safety compliance.
