Roles + Responsibilities
Zero Harm
Safety Investigators

ER24’s Safety Investigators communicate with and support ER24 staff on sites around expectations, policies and procedures of Health, Safety and Compliance, by functioning as a direct communication point, receiving and addressing staff concerns or ideas for improvement; ensuring staff are fully informed on new policies and practices.

Our Safety Investigators will engage and communicate with Clients on performance alignment, contract compliance, innovation and policy development.

Roles + Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain supportive and effective partnerships with all staff on Client sites;
  • Provide weekly reports to Senior Management on incidents/issues on site;
  • Develop and implement Incident Management Training (IMT) sessions for staff and clients on request;
  • Assist and lead Environmental awareness and policy development for ER24;
  • Provide expert advice on Health and Safety management for clients and staff;
  • Facilitate Leadership training for Site Contacts and Seniors as required;
  • Design, maintain and report on mandatory audits for company to comply with statutory requirements;
  • Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues;
  • Assess compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies;
  • Conduct environmental audits to ensure adherence to environmental standards;
  • Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation;
  • Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities;
  • Consultant for Site Leads on monthly reporting for each contractor site;
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients both internal and external including employee organisations and statutory and governmental bodies;
  • Coordination of all Site Contracts and Seniors in planning, support and communicating effectively;
  • Participate in performance appraisals, interview panels and provide input into the management of skills development;
  • Participate in peer review for senior staff;
  • Represent ER24 in negotiations, at meetings, conventions, and seminars as required;
  • Have involvement with development and preparation of work schedules and assigning duties and projects;
  • Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives and procedures conferring with the General Manager and Senior Management as required;
  • Assist in the presentation and/or conduct training in areas specific to Company processes;
  • Develop harmonious and effective working relationships with all personnel within the Company and pro-actively support the broader Senior Management initiatives;
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed.

All ER24 staff are focused on maintaining ‘zero harm’ for the organisation or client, specific reporting on events + advising the company on safety compliance.
