Sporting Events

The objective of our Sporting Events department is to provide world class dedicated pre-hospital services specific to the industry and be recognised as a world leader. With fully qualified Paramedics, Security and Nursing staff, we offer clients a total package in public safety in the sporting environment.

Purpose built paramedic vehicles are designed to ensure all advanced equipment and consumables are accessible for rapid response. ER24 staff have extensive experience in the pre-hospital setting and provide professional reporting and information to our stakeholders.

Roles + Responsibilities
  • Respond to sporting incidents that require pre-hospital emergency care;
  • Professional communication with major stakeholders to ensure compliance with clients’ charter, code of conduct and relevant statutory obligations;
  • Maintain and test emergency vehicles and equipment;
  • Risk assessments of sporting events to mitigate liability of potential risk;
  • Drug and Alcohol testing.
Dedicated Health Professionals

All ER24 health professionals are pre-hospital emergency specialists authorised to practice at advanced life support level, intravenous drug administration + defibrillation.

Patient Care

ER24 Paramedics and Nurses are specialists in their field as pre-hospital care technicians and are experienced and qualified to deal with patients in all aspects of acute emergency care.

Their expertise also covers sports related injuries with a high level of diagnostic recommendations for injuries. Training is measured against the national standards and we have a wide range of experience with all drug therapy interventions with advanced skills and techniques.

All ER24 Paramedics and Nurses are AHPRA certified and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in relative State or Government agencies. This includes experience in Trauma, Intensive Care and Aeromedical Retrieval situations.

Clinical Governance

All ER24 Paramedics and Nurses are AHPRA certified and are governed by extensive Clinical Practice Guidelines which we operate under with ‘best practice’ principles. Our experienced ER24 Paramedics are able to perform advanced medical procedures such as compromised airways, intravenous access, cardiac monitoring and defibrillation.

All of our Policies, Procedures and Drug Protocols have been fully endorsed and approved by our Medical Director and certified by the Drugs and Poisons Policy and Regulation Health Units in every State or Territory in which we operate.
